Our conscience plays a big part in the process of forgiveness.  It forces us to care, to have some type of sympathy for the ones that have been offended.  Why is it that after an argument we usually feel that things are still unresolved . . . unsettled? . . .

Why do we apologize?  How is it that we were designed so intricately that we get the idea that we have wronged a loved one?  In some cases some are so sensitive that they can sense when they have offended a total stranger! Our consciences give us that balance between right and wrong.  It's that governor that stops you from greedily taking that extra dollar when you already have accumulated a thousand.
